TATE THOMPSON is a high school teacher in Junction City, Kansas, who lives in the world of teens. "Many of those kids are alive in my head," he said, "so I wrote their fictional characters' voices out to make a fast-paced page turner that keeps the attention of all my students." His low-level readers and his high-level readers love his book, The Space Between. Senioritis was geared specifically for TV-oriented teenagers.
